Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring with when I drop off my pet?
  • Proof of current vaccinations.
  • Medications/supplements in original packaging with  proper    identification & lables. 
  • Your dog must arrive with a collar and leash, and needs to remain in your full control while on resort property and in the front office.
  • Meals  need to be portioned out in individual bags for each feeding. If you do not portion out your dog's food, there will be a $20 meal prep fee per dog.  If you do not provide food for your dog, there will be a $3 charge  per meal for house food. We will provide a bed and bedding for your dog,    as well as food and water dishes.

What are your vaccination requirements?
  • Rabies, Distemper Combo,  and  Bordetella    
  • We highly recommend considering and discussing the canine influenza vaccine with your veterinarian. 
 
Do you accommodate pets with special needs or those requiring medications?
  • Most likely yes, depending on the special needs of your pet. Please call us to discuss your pets specific health condition so we can ensure our facility will be able to provide all the proper care and support that your pet needs.   
  • There is a $5  per day charged for adminstering medications. 
  • Currently we are unable to accommodate dogs requiring  injections, or those with a history of seizures. 
 
How old does my pet need to be before he/she can be boarded or participate in doggie day care?
  • Your pet must be at least 4 months old and have received all of his/her vaccinations.
  • For daycare all dogs over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered.
 
Can my pet stay with you if he/she isn’t spayed/neutered?
  • Yes, however your pet will not be allowed to participate in doggie daycare or interact with other pets if they are over 6 months of age.
  • Female dogs    in season are not permitted. 
 
Can my pet still stay with you if he/she prefers not to interact with dogs?  
  • Most likely yes, but we will need to discuss with you what behavioral issues your dog has to ensure your pets comfort and safety, as well as the staff and other pet guests. 
  • Individual  activity fees will apply. 
 
Can you do anything special for my dog if it’s his/her birthday or a special holiday?
  • Absolutely,  just let us know!    We are happy to  make your dog feel extra special on their birthday! On top of our daily treats, we also offer Gourmet Cookies & Gourmet Pup Cups  or you can sign your dog up for  a visit to grooming spa!
